The Children’s Chair N65 is a scaled-down adaptation of Alvar Aalto’s iconic Chair 65 (1935), designed according to the same principles of functionality, durability, and human-centred design, thoughtfully translated to a child’s scale. Produced by Artek, the model has remained relevant for decades.

Constructed from bent birch using Aalto’s pioneering L-leg technique, the chair features a curved plywood backrest and circular seat. While the N65 is most commonly found with natural birch or neutral seat finishes, versions with coloured laminate seats—such as this blue example—are less frequently encountered.

These chairs show visible signs of use consistent with age, including surface wear and minor marks, which contribute to their authentic vintage character. Overall, they remain in good, functional condition.
