This little chair from the 1990s features the beloved Snorkmaiden character from the Moomin universe, created by Finnish illustrator and writer Tove Jansson. Crafted from painted wood, the chair is part of a licensed collection celebrating the whimsical world of Moominvalley.

Though the designer remains anonymous, the piece was produced under official license by Adlercreutz Design Ltd and Tue Furnich, and distributed through Scandinavian retailers. The backrest features a cut-out silhouette of Snorkmaiden, making it both a playful and functional tribute to Nordic storytelling.
